Current WA Law requires Divorced Parents to pay for their children's college; however, it does not require the same of Non-Divorced or Never-Married Parents.
There is no justificable basis for this disparate treatment of parents, nor is there a justifiable basis to discriminate between potential college students based solely on the martial status of their parents.
